Post exercise 15.5
I don't understand how to interpret the points on S^3 as spinors. In particular, how do we rotate the vector? It will be highly appreciated if someone could provide full solution on this difficult problem.

Look at solutions in the mathematical part of this forum and then look at the post "sorted solutions to RTR..." by fallingup and there is a solution to 15.5

Thank you for referring me to the RTR solution list. Unfortunately I have trouble following the solution giver's logic there. It seems to be a jumble of hints plus occasional insights. Things like the definition of the tangent map should probably be assumed or given in the beginning, but instead they were inserted in the middle of an argument. I am confused about the definition of spinor in the context of that problem and also would like to know precisely what is meant by a rotation. Finally if you could write another solution of the same problem, I would greatly appreciate. Thank you.
